Murder Mystery Party
Join us for a riveting night of mystery, intrigue and interactive FUN! All registered participants will receive a special invitation with their new identity and instructions for the night. We will begin the evening in our vast wardrobe picking out the perfect outfits and accessories for our characters. And then? Who knows what trickery and deception will ensue! Pizza dinner, dessert and snacks will be served at this riveting dinner party.

Aurora's Santa Under the Stars Parade

5:00pm to 8:00pm (approx.)
We are looking for enthusiastic participants to join us as we walk in the Aurora Santa Under the Stars Parade this year! The parade will travel south on Yonge Street from Orchard Heights Blvd. to Murray Drive. We are hoping to have a large, dynamic group that will help us express our joy and excitement about the upcoming holidays. Participants will be provided with either a Santa's Elf or Toy costume to wear overtop of their warm winter gear.
Please note: Different from the last couple of years, we are only seeking student participants who will walk with staff and volunteers. Participants from any of our programs are welcome including all camps, fun nights, seasonal and year round programs, however spaces are limited. Participants must be old enough to do the complete walk on their own.

The final details (where and when to meet etc.) will be sent out to families by Wednesday November 19th, following the Town of Aurora information session that Miss Martin will attend earlier that week.

Her irrepressible joy and zest for life, quickly earn Anne the respect, admiration and love of even the town’s most hard-lined cynics. A Midsummer Nights Dream

We’re in study hall where just about everyone is doing everything except studying for tomorrow’s test on A Midsummer Night’s Dream. That is until one of the students gets an idea. In this rollicking adaptation of Shakespeare’s play, teenagers, fairies, workers and royalty collide in a forest on a summer night and are bedazzles by a prankster. The fairy queen falls in love with a donkey, the teens fall in and out (and in) love with each other, six well-meaning goofs stumble into their 15 minutes of fame, fairies weave magic to bring it all to a happy end as only Shakespeare can conjure the tapestry, and three streetwise storytellers pull the audience at breakneck speed toward the moon-drenched conclusion.

Told entirely through song, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine gets him out of jail and elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man. Eventually Joseph’s brothers find themselves unknowingly groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed. As they fail to even recognize him, Joseph tests their integrity. He ultimately reveals himself and the brothers are reconciled.
The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, from a parody of French ballads, to country-western and calypso, along with the unforgettable classics “Any Dream Will Do” and “Close Every Door.”

Ellen, the wife of a successful author, has written a book about friends who are spouses of celebrities and what it is like to be married to Somebody Famous. She has invited them to her house on the beach at Malibu to let them read advance copies and to break the news to them gently that they are depicted warts and all. All nearly have apoplexy when they read the book because it really does tell all. When the news arrives that the book is to be made into a movie, they change their tune and get excited about which star will play them.

Finding Nemo the Musical is a hilarious adventure where you'll meet colourful characters that take you into the breathtaking underwater world of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Nemo, an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken to a dentist's office aquarium. It's up to Marlin, his worrisome father, and Dory, a friendly but forgetful tang fish, to make the epic journey to bring Nemo home. Their adventure brings them face-to-face with vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish, and more!

When Pippi is not dancing with burglars, she may be at the circus fighting the strongest man in the world or playing tag with policemen! When the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself, the family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favourite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical, a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and danger, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. The powers of friendship, loyalty and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
